The walk is based on the biography of Käte Rogalli, a trans woman who lived during Nazi rule. Her life is an example of the persecution and oppression many trans people faced during that time. The walk is a small contribution to the commemoration of all victims of Nazi ideology.
The tour can be completed entirely digitally. But you can also select stations that you would like to visit physically. The entire tour lasts from 60 minutes to 2 hours. The walk can be booked with Educat Kollektiv in Berlin, a booklet with all the stations and information is available in English and German language.

You can reach the walk with a click on the link: https://citywalk.educat-kollektiv.org/en/.
Reader with input for the walk
The following reader is a result of research work by historian Kai* Brust, used to accompany a series of workshops in cooperation between Educat Kollektiv, Prismatica and Jugendnetzwerk Lambda Berlin-Brandenburg. The reader is 32 pages long and in English language. It can be used as input for the interactive city walk. You can open it with a click on the picture below.
