As part of the program, participants will attend the Queer Voices International Film Festival in Chișinău (around one third of the program). The festival is organised by our project partner A.O. MOLDOX. The rest of the program is organised by ArtPlatforma, Queer Cafe, Coopera and other partners. As one of the possibilities, there will be an option to contribute to a final public exhibition bringing together the collective work and ideas. The exhibition is organised as part of the festival. The emphasis of the trip will be on mutual learning, group dynamics, understanding and mutual assistance, and consideration for one another. What is it about

During the trip the participants will:

As part of the program, participants have the chance to attend the Queer Voices International Film Festival in Chișinău (around one third of the program). The festival is organised by our project partner A.O. MOLDOX.

The rest of the program is organised by Educat Collective, ArtPlatforma, Queer Cafe, Coopera and other partners.

So far the project language is English. A lot of the program will be in English language. We will try to include other languages, such as Romanian. Please let us know, which languages you feel comfortable with and dont hesitate to apply in other languages as well.

Participants will travel to Chișinău, Moldova, where accommodation and meals will be provided. Costs of travel under 350 EUR will be covered as well.

About the project

Decolonising Cultures of Remembrance questions current narratives on history and their (mis)use in the light of ongoing war in Ukraine, growing tensions and the rising far-right movement. We want to bring together activists, foster dialogue, promote strategies of resilience and negotiate the question “has remembrance failed?”, putting the focus on marginalized and decolonial perspectives. The project has started in 2023. Several educational travels, workshops and a multi-langual (online) exhibition have evolved.

Despre ce este vorba

În timpul călătoriei, participanții vor:

  • explora temele decolonizării culturilor memoriei, memoria queer, precum și perspectivele queer asupra prezentului
  • afla mai multe despre culturile memoriei din Moldova, care este influențată de multiple imperii și state și marcată de o istorie fragmentată, represiune prelungită a experiențelor traumatice și narațiuni concurente
  • participa la ateliere interactive, proiecții, discuții și vizite pe teren,  vor face schimb de perspective cu alți participanți,
  • vor încerca practici artistice colaborative decoloniale.

Ca parte a programului, participanții vor participa la Festivalul Internațional de Film Queer Voices din Chișinău (aproximativ o treime din program). Festivalul este organizat de partenerul nostru de proiect A.O. MOLDOX.

Restul programului este organizat de ArtPlatforma, Queer Cafe, Coopera și alți parteneri.

Una dintre posibilități este opțiunea de a contribui la o expoziție publică finală care va servi să unifice lucrările și ideile colective. Expoziția este organizată ca parte a festivalului.

Accentul călătoriei va fi pus pe învățarea reciprocă, dinamica de grup, înțelegerea și asistența reciprocă, precum și respectul reciproc.

Cine poate aplica

Căutăm participanți interesați de temele legate de memoria colectivă și abordările decoloniale. Locul de reședință (unde locuiți în prezent) trebuie să fie în una dintre țările partenere finanțate: Belarus, Germania, Moldova, Polonia sau Ucraina. Este important de menționat că acest proiect se opune ferm naționalismului și promovează dialogul. Vă rugăm să țineți cont de acest lucru atunci când aplicați.

Până în prezent, limba proiectului este engleza. O mare parte a programului se va desfășura în limba engleză. Vom încerca să includem și alte limbi, cum ar fi româna.

Costuri

Participanții vor călători la Chișinău, Moldova, unde li se vor asigura cazarea și masa. Costurile de călătorie sub 350 EUR vor fi, de asemenea, acoperite.

Despre proiect

Decolonising Cultures of Remembrance pune sub semnul întrebării narațiunile actuale despre istorie și utilizarea eronată a acestora în contextul războiului din Ucraina, al tensiunilor crescânde și ascensiunii mișcării de extremă dreapta. Dorim să reunim activiștii, să încurajăm dialogul, să promovăm strategii de reziliență și să negociem întrebarea „a eșuat memoria?”, punând accentul pe perspective marginalizate și decoloniale.

Educat – Colectiv educațional

Educat e.V. este un colectiv de lucrători din domeniul educației din Dresda, Rostock și Berlin, care se ocupă de educație critică și conștientă de diversitate, lucrează la formate educaționale emancipatoare și experimentale și se ocupă de memorie. Împreună cu numeroși parteneri și camarazi, Educat facilitează Cultures of Remembrance din 2021.
